Classrooms & Lecture Theatre
A Well structured physical infra structural facility is an essential ingredient to support sound process of teaching & learning classroom at NU are designed and equipped with the modern teaching facilities like complete terminals with internet, LCDs, OHP Slide, Projectors, roll-down screens, green boards and podium for faculty and public address system. These mini laboratories are spacious enough, well lit, well ventilated and accommodated with the nice roomy sitting arrangements to facilitate proper teacher-student interaction. The class rooms’ ambience has taken a modern look with swiveling chairs and wooden tables. It can accommodate 100-150 students and available for conducting regular orientation programmes like extension lectures, guest lectures, and personality development classes.
Library & Resource Center
Library is the backbone of any sound academic environment and NU appreciates it well. The collection in the library is constantly enriched with books beyond those prescribed by the syllabus. The library is proud to possess more than 12,000 volumes from leading authors of India & abroad. The library subscribes to various national journals in the print format, periodicals and magazines. Cafeteria @ NU
Cafeteria @ NU is the students’ favourite hangout place. Located near the main block of the University campus, it is easily accessible from the academic and administration wings. The cafeteria has been well planned and laid out in the midst of campus and beautifully landscaped. The Cafeteria functions from 8am to 4pm for the benefit of students who avail the facilities of library, games etc. after the college hours.
Laboratory work at Navrachana University encourages the development of analytical and critical thinking skills of the students. The University has dedicated laboratories for physics, chemistry and biology programmes. Each laboratory is well equipped with sufficient equipments, apparatus, specimens and computerized charts as per the requirements of every subject. The laboratories are environmental friendly and all the necessary safety measures have been taken while designing the laboratory.
• Computer Laboratories
To meet the demand of curricular as well as professional requirement, NU provides the computer lab facilities. The institute has well equipped central computing facility in computer labs. A part from a range of routine and special software, the computer labs have the latest operating systems & Wi-Fi internet facilities.
The University has two purpose-built laboratories for IT & Computing, with 60 sharp Dell PCs, and an array of wireless internet and LAN servers. The machines are configured to best serve the technology and communication (including presentation) needs of today's tertiary learners.
• Language Laboratories
The Language Lab is equipped with the latest Language based software. In order to develop and enhance their LSRW Skills (using technology to develop an understanding of concepts) has been proven to be highly successful, and results in deeper student comprehension and greater enthusiasm. Much of this success is due to the high level of student investment in the learning process, and the student-centered approach in instruction, as contrasted with the lecture method, which is teacher-centered and results in alienating many students from the subject. Infusing technology into the subject curriculum is imperative for helping students become technology-literate beyond word processing. This method of technology-driven instruction ensures that students will be comfortable with other innovative uses of technology.
• Indoor Games & Sports Club
The Sports Club is created to provide opportunities for students to participate in a variety of sports and recreational activities. It is a student organization formed by those with a common interest in a sport activity and exists to promote and develop interest in that particular sport.
Within the NU campus students have been provided with one Volley Ball court and two Table Tennis tables. In addition to this students are also provided with a complete Cricket Kit (with all necessary safety wares), four Badminton kits, Football, Volley ball, Chess sets, Carom Board.

Navrachana University has a very good hostel facility for both boys and girls, situated at a distance of around 1.5 kms from the University campus on the Vasna-Bhayli Road an upcoming locality- now also called Vasant Vihar. There is a bus service for commuting from the hostel to the campus at specific intervals and scheduled timings. Allotment of accommodation in the hostel is on first-come-first-served basis.
The hostel building has three floors. The ground floor houses the Hostel Warden’s Office, and the classrooms for NavKaushalya, a Navrachana training institute for girls and women (9 am to 6 pm). The first floor houses the boys’ wing and the second floor houses the girls’ wing. Both have separate entrances and there are no inter-connections to ensure privacy and security. Around 42 girls and 48 boys can be accommodated in the hostel. Each large, well-ventilated room in the hostel admeasuring 430 sq feet accommodates 6 students. All rooms are furnished with comfortable beds, reading desks and storage facilities for students staying there. There are 6 common washrooms (3 toilets and 3 bathrooms attached with geysers) on both floors. Hostel rooms are cleaned regularly on a daily basis.
The public areas in the hostel are monitored by CCTV. There is a common lobby space on each floor separating the boys and girls. The common room has a television for leisure and recreation, and a table tennis playing facility. There is an outdoor throw ball/volleyball court as well. There is 24 x 7 security at the hostel entrance and all entries are recorded in the security log book. Students HAVE to report to the hostel latest by 10.30pm every day.
The hostel is supported by a good canteen and a common dining facility which is located on the ground floor. It serves hygienic, vegetarian, freshly made food to all hostelites, at scheduled timings. The canteen offers breakfast and dinner on all days, as well as lunch on those Saturdays and all other public holidays and Sundays when the University is closed. Students can have lunch at the University canteen during the working days. The canteen will remain closed during the University vacation period. It is mandated that during vacation periods, the hostels are vacated and exceptions can only be made in dire circumstances
Hostel fee includes lodging charges only. Canteen and Bus fees are to be paid separately.
